Alexandr Wang, the world’s newest self-made billionaire and the company’s $ 14 billion CEO, has become one of the most important voices for artificial intelligence. And the message he is sharing now is that the US is at risk of falling after.
“The Chinese Communist Party has approved an entire government approach to lead it-a master plan,” he said.

“One of the things I really worry about is, if China competes forward in it – and, let’s say, they start applying to their army and their online operations more effectively than we in the United States – they will be able to hack on our systems. They will be able to hacked in our power grid and close it.
At 28, he has the attention of congressmen, CEOs and celebrities – and the ability to influence politics.
Ever since he moved to San Francisco nearly a decade ago, he has been taught to get to know all the right people in Silicon Valley (Sam Altman even lived with him for several months) and has become a match in global events like Allen & Company Convention in Sun Valley, Davos, and, most recently, the world’s leaders, where Narendra Modi Macron Seek Seek.
Now, he is helping the US access to AI and believes time is right: “This administration has been super focused on him, thinking about how to secure American leadership.
This week, after testifying to the Energy and Trade Committee of the Home and revealed his vision of America’s strategy, Wang spoke to me why this moment is so urgent, why he is giving priority to the US time with government leaders (he sat for four and a half hours before Congress) and why he believes Silicon Valley is committed to helping the US.
Wang told me he sees a narrow window – one to two years – for the US to provide its superiority in it, especially when China accelerates its ambitions.

Beyond security, Wang points out that his advancement will benefit from all Americans, and he is already seeing his potential to help.
